Arts Service & Cultural Justice

Collective forCreative Care

A network of arts service organizations advancing wellbeing, safety, and collective liberation for cultural communities.

Our Vision

"We envision a world where cultural expression is a protected human right, care is embedded into every structure and policy, and all communities — especially those systemically marginalized — are safe to create, connect, and thrive. Our collective stands at the intersection of artistic freedom, community safety, and cultural democracy."

Our Mission

The Collective for Creative Care is a volunteer-driven alliance of arts service organizations, cultural workers, and justice-rooted advocates committed to protecting the rights, well-being, and democratic participation of creative communities.

Our Work

We Work Collectively To

01

Defend artistic and cultural expression from threats of censorship, disinvestment, and political repression.

02

Embed care and community safety into cultural policy, funding structures, and public discourse.

03

Advance equity, democracy, and access within and through the arts and culture sector.

Why We Exist

Our Purpose

We are an emergent, volunteer-powered collective of arts service organizations, cultural workers, and civic-minded artists joining together to:

  • Build coordinated, responsive action to cultural repression and civic disruption.

  • Protect and advance creative expression, safety, and equity.

  • Develop shared infrastructure and liberatory strategy across service orgs and communities.
